A clogged drain can be really annoying. It often smells bad, you can’t use the sink, and you have to call a plumber to come and do a drain cleaning for you. While we appreciate the business, we don’t want anyone to have to call unnecessarily. There are a few tips and tricks you can follow to help prevent a clog in the first place. This video demonstrates one way to clean and maintain your drains, so that a professional drain cleaning won’t need to be done as often.
It is not necessary to call a plumber for every little blockage, but there are times when it is warranted. The trick is in knowing where to draw the line. Unless you are a qualified and licensed plumber, you should stop short of doing anything that requires disassembly or modification of any of the plumbing equipment in your home or business. Leave that sort of thing to the professionals.
